Araya is a 17-year-old British-Thai singer-songwriter that pairs her confessional emotive vocals with a 90s inspired sound. She is a Nottingham and Derby based artist that fuses the genres of folk, grunge and alternative rock into her work.
Araya touches on topical and poetic imagery within her song writing and performance and is often described as distinctive and unique amongst those who are lucky enough to watch her.
She has played events such as Hockley Hustle, Rough trade, Rescue rooms , Reimagined festival, Glastonblaby festival and The Chapel.
